OH don't be so humble! I have a great deal of repsect for "boat people." It's a wonderful life with lots of adventures, but it can be a hard one too. I find anyone brave enough to live out their dream like that to be incredible and of good character, or in the witness protection program. ;)
Few boats have ever sailed through this blind pass of Caroline Island, like a cul-de-sac. Maybe as few as five in the last fifteen years. The seas are often confused and the visibility poor. I had a friend, Hugh, up on the spreaders, directing me on the VHF; you can hear him in the background. Herbert is commentating.
