I made port last night in a raging thunderstorm.
22 days. Slowest passage to date. No wind. Tore my main'sle in half!!! Such fun sowing it back together. Swam with dollphins. . . while underway!!. . . that is how damned slow I was sailing.

Caroline Island Blind Passage
Few boats have ever sailed through this blind pass of Caroline Island, like a cul-de-sac. Maybe as few as five in the last fifteen years. The seas are often confused and the visibility poor. I had a friend, Hugh, up on the spreaders, directing me on the VHF; you can hear him in the background. Herbert is commentating.
