Caroline Island Blind Passage
Few boats have ever sailed through this blind pass of Caroline Island, like a cul-de-sac. Maybe as few as five in the last fifteen years. The seas are often confused and the visibility poor. I had a friend, Hugh, up on the spreaders, directing me on the VHF; you can hear him in the background. Herbert is commentating.

thanks MI. Just made it home. Great cross-country trip with my brother. . . lots of talking. My dad is in very good spirits, which makes a tremendous difference, you know. So, i'm just getting settled back in. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get internet at the house and then be back in touch more satisfactorily. Thanks for the thoughts
