Great trip home with Will. Getting situated. Haven't had time to get on the internet and respond to any emails or write in the blog. But my dad is doing great. He has good days and bad--but yesterdays was a great one. He was so mobile and active, kind of amazing to see. Otherwise he is a bit tired and sits in his room and chats with us and eats really well.

Caroline Island Blind Passage
Few boats have ever sailed through this blind pass of Caroline Island, like a cul-de-sac. Maybe as few as five in the last fifteen years. The seas are often confused and the visibility poor. I had a friend, Hugh, up on the spreaders, directing me on the VHF; you can hear him in the background. Herbert is commentating.

Hey Jonah,
Thanks for stopping by and glad we can provide a smile on your face. Even better news about your Dad and that you are able to be by his side. So you got to hear a little bit about my sea life from when I was young. I still have a great love for the sea, as well as a healthy respect for her.
You should visit Mental Poo on a regular basis, its sorta like South Park on a blog from a pissed off midget. We love him, he really is a decent guy, deep down inside. :)
